Mexican Cloudywing

Appearance: Above, brown with a few white spots varying in size, sometimes with a darker outline, Below, brown with the outer portion of wings lighter and often pink in cast. The forewing spots are apparent.

Size: Small; 1-1 1/2 inches.

Habitat: Montane; most open areas, often near moist areas and streams.

Season: Spring through mid-summer.

Larval Foodplant: Clovers and vetches
