Green Skipper

Appearance: Below, prominent spot band on hindwing. Very similar to Pahaska Skipper and difficult to separate where they both exist. Above, male has black felt stigma. (Pahaska has black stigma with yellow interior).

Size: Small; 1- 1 5/16 inches

Habitat: Canyons, draws and gulches.

Season: Spring to early Summer; early Fall. 2 broods

Larval Foodplant: Grasses, especially Blue Grama
